These Terms explain the basic rules for using SkulCare, a learning, computer-based testing (CBT) and school management platform for Nigerian schools and learners. They are written in plain language and are a draft pending review by qualified legal counsel before public launch.
This page is a plain-language draft prepared for transparency and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before public launch. It is not legal advice.
Introduction
By using SkulCare, you agree to use it in line with these Terms. If you are using SkulCare on behalf of a school, you agree to them on that school’s behalf. Please read these Terms alongside our Privacy Notice.
Who may use SkulCare
SkulCare is used by:
- Learners and students
- Schools and their staff
- Competition candidates
- Platform administrators
You should provide accurate information when you sign up or register. Students may use SkulCare through a school, a parent or guardian, or another approved learning context, depending on how access is set up.
Accounts and security
- You are responsible for keeping your login details safe.
- Do not share your password or any access code with people who should not have it.
- Schools are responsible for managing their own staff and student accounts in their school portal.
- Let us know promptly if you think someone has gained unauthorised access to an account.
School responsibilities
If your school uses SkulCare, the school is responsible for:
- The student and staff data it adds to its portal.
- Having the appropriate permission or authority to add and manage that data.
- Reviewing the exam content it creates.
- Managing staff access responsibly.
- Contacting us for subscription and billing support (see for schools).
Learner responsibilities
If you are a learner using SkulCare, please:
- Use the platform honestly.
- Do not try to cheat, tamper with exam timers, disrupt exams, scrape content, or misuse accounts.
Your results depend on your own effort and the exam conditions. SkulCare does not guarantee exam success.
Competitions and CBT rules
- Competitions may have their own registration rules, schedules, fees and access credentials.
- Candidates must use their own credentials.
- Access may be limited to rounds that are open or live.
- Cheating or tampering may lead to disqualification or loss of access.
- Results and leaderboards depend on how each competition is set up.
Competitions are not always available — they run when a competition is open.
Payments and subscriptions
- Payments may be processed through Paystack.
- Learner plans, school subscriptions and competition fees may follow different flows.
- School billing may be handled manually with our team, depending on the arrangement.
- Access to paid features may depend on confirmed payment or an active subscription.
- Prices are shown on our pricing page and can change with notice.
Acceptable use
When using SkulCare, you must not:
- Attack, disrupt or reverse engineer the platform.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access.
- Scrape or copy content at scale.
- Upload malicious files.
- Impersonate other people.
- Misuse candidate credentials.
- Use the platform for anything unlawful.
Content and intellectual property
SkulCare owns or controls the platform’s design, software and the platform content we provide. Schools may own or be responsible for the content they upload or create, such as their own exams and student records.
Please do not copy or distribute content without permission. This does not change a school’s responsibility for, and interest in, its own data.
Availability and changes
- We may update features, pages, pricing and policies over time.
- Service interruptions can happen.
- We do not promise guaranteed uptime unless a separate written agreement says so.
Limitation and disclaimer
SkulCare is provided to support learning and school management. It does not replace a school’s professional judgement, and it does not guarantee exam success, admission, ranking or any specific academic outcome.
Privacy and data
Privacy and data requests are covered separately. Please read these Terms alongside our Privacy Notice, and see our data requests page for how to ask about the personal data we hold.
Contact
For privacy or data questions, email [email protected] or visit our data requests page. Schools looking to get started or manage a subscription can reach our team via the for schools page.

We may revise these Terms as SkulCare evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed.
